| Head, Affiliation & Alternative Learning Academy |
Job Purpose
- To plan, develop, direct, evaluate, recommend, review, lead and execute the development of e-learning modules i.e. content development, implementation and management.
- To provide comprehensive training and development programs to ultimately improve the skills, knowledge and competency level of the sales force/channel of distribution to penetrate the right market segment in support of business growth.
- To manage expectations of internal and external customers to deliver the desired e-learning learning needs as to achieve the targeted level of sales performance competency.
- To determine, manage and evaluate limited sales channels information and data to meet TNA standards in identifying the 'gaps'.
- To ensure e-learning modules are developed in time and meet the required quality and standards of sales channel expectation.
- To measure the direct correlation between sales achievement and the e-learning training provided.
- To lead in liaison of new business development with Public/Private Higher Education/MII/LIMRA on any approved JV programs.
- To lead any initiatives / projects approved by Academy or Senior Management Committee related to e-learning & other affiliated programs.
Candidate's Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Insurance, Business Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the Insurance & Takaful industry with the exposure in related functions.
- Awareness of competitive pressure and business acumen.
- Sound knowledge on the landscape of Insurance & Takaful, particularly in learning development.
- Excellent command and communication skills at all levels, both verbal and writing.
- Possess good planning, leading, managing, executing and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.

| Risk Engineer |
Job Purpose
- To assess, evaluate risk exposure and to provide technical consultation for underwriter and reinsurance and business / sales.
- To conduct survey and other value added services for underwriter, reinsurers and also to support business / sales unit.
- To assess PML to increase retention.
- To recommend and monitor risk improvement for loss mitigation in order to minimize company's risk exposure.
- To determine and direct the flow up to the risk monitoring and to ensure the company risk exposure is minimized.
- To propose post loss prevention for claims control.
Job Content
- Conduct site survey & inspection for risk assessment.
- Prepare survey report & risk improvement recommendation.
- Provide risk management & loss prevention services to clients.
- Provide technical consultation to underwriters, sales/business units, RI department and claims.
Candidate's Requirements
- Possess a degree (Civil Engineering).
- At least 2 years working experience with consultancy in design.
- At least 1 year working experience as Project Engineer.
- Possess strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to work beyond normal requirements.
- Excellent in verbal and written English.
- Familiar with engineering, fire and safety standards would be beneficial.
- Possess car with valid driving license.
- Able to travel and work outstation for up to a week at a time.
- Fit and healthy. Job will often be outdoors in the sun with lots of walking required.

Job Description |
Personal Financial Consultant
To be located at Standard Chartered Bank (Saddiq) branches in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Shah Alam, Bandar Bukit Tinggi (Klang), Bangsar, Johor Bahru and Ampang Point. |
Job Purpose
- To sell products, provide sales support and services of Etiqa to third party banks' customers (Standard Chartered Bank) by identifying the customers' needs and recommending suitable Etiqa/Maybank Group products and enhancing at all times the overall relationship between Etiqa, third party banks (Standard Chartered Bank) and the customers. In addition, constantly and continuously assist and counsel other PFCs.
Job Accountabilities
- To generate sales volume that matches the individual/branch budget/target set for life insurance, general insurance, investment-linked and unit trust (where applicable),
- To build and improve the overall relationship between Etiqa, third party banks (Standard Chartered Bank) and its customers to generate quality lead generation, and
- To conduct and facilitate trainings and courses for Branch staff in order to improve the quality of lead generation and create awareness of bancassurance.
Candidate's Requirements
- Possess a university degree, preferably in insurance, economics, finance, investment, banking, statistics or equivalent. A postgraduate/professional degree is an added advantage.
- At least 2 year's professional experience in insurance/financial industry especially in bancassurance/banking.
- Experience in bancassurance/sales/marketing of bancassurance/financial products would be an added advantage.
- Excellent command and communication skills, both verbal and written in Bahasa Melayu, English and fair knowledge of other major language/dialect.
- Proven presentation and leadership skills.
- Awareness of competitive pressure; business acumen.
- Strong aptitude for financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently and in team with an aptitude for close cooperation and coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel.
