	DHALIA MOHD NOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTING I was previously from an audit firm, mainly involved in banking engagements but has zero experience or knowledge of insurance. There were two initial triggers that made me decided to join Etiqa, the fact that it is a part of Maybank, the largest banking group in Malaysia and my feeling that Etiqa is a great place to work. When I joined Etiqa, initially, the biggest challenge for me to effectively execute my job was to understand the insurance business. Yet Etiqa is distinctively different; the people are different. They are friendly and supportive, generous in sharing knowledge and experience, making the work and the working environment easy to adapt to. I am glad I was not wrong about the second trigger that made me decided to join Etiqa.

	TEO SOK BEE VALUATION & FINANCIAL REPORTING, CORPORATE ACTUARIAL I knew I always wanted to do actuarial course after school but it was hard to find a sponsor. I was lucky when my application for Maybank scholarship was successful after an interview. It was a fun and relaxed interview session, nothing serious nor any hassle of paperwork nor presentation. During my 3 years of university life, I have attended without fail all Maybank's year-end gathering, where we got to meet other sponsored students and Maybank’s employees who shared their stories. This has helped us to build relationship with other students, understand the working world better and prepare our mind for better assimilation. After graduation, I joined Maybank but not in actuarial function, where my heart was. A month later, there was an opening in Etiqa in Valuation and Financial Reporting, Corporate Actuarial. I talked to my superiors then about my feeling and they really spent time to listen and respond. I’m glad I have this opportunity to move within the Maybank Group. The fun part being in Etiqa? Working and learning so many things at the same time! I’m so happy to be a part of the Etiqa team.
