Who can certify claims documents?

What is contestable period?
The time limit during which an insurer may contest or challenge the validity of the policy due to fraud, suppression of material facts or misrepresentation in the application.

Do I need to submit the medical report for 2nd installment of Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claim?
Yes. The medical report on Insured's current medical condition is necessary to prove continuity of disability. In the event that the covered person ceases to be totally and permanently disabled, the Company shall discontinue any further installment payments or waiver of premium, where applicable.

I have submitted the TPD claim. Do I need to pay my premium which is going to due next month?
Yes, it is advisable to pay the premium until the claims has been approved. Excess premiums will be refunded to you, if any.

Why do insurance company requests for 'Letter of Administration' from claimant?
Where a policy owner dies without having made a nomination, the Grant of Probate or Letter of Administration or Distribution Order will be required to distribute the policy moneys accordingly.
