Effective coverage dates

Domestic trip:

Coverage starts when you leave your home to begin your journey and ends at the earliest of the following:

  • When you arrive back home
  • Expiry date of your policy/certificate

International trips:

Coverage starts 6 hours before your scheduled departure and ends at the earliest of the following:

  • When you arrive back home
  • 6 hours after you return to Malaysia
  • Expiry date of your policy/certificate

Note: The trip must commence from Malaysia and end in Malaysia.

  • Rock climbing necessitating the use of ropes and other climbing equipment
  • Skiing or snowboarding within official approved areas of a ski resort
  • Rafting, canoeing and kayaking involving white water (grade 4 and below) with a licensed operator
  • Underwater activities involving artificial breathing apparatus up to 30 metres

Note: Coverage is valid only when the activity is conducted by a licensed operator.
