Etiqa, in collaboration with the ROSE Foundation, is offering an innovative solution to detect cancer-causing HPV viruses in women. Women who carry the virus and subsequently develops pre-cancer lesions can now be treated before their condition progresses into cervical cancer. In 2021, Etiqa has provided free cervical screening to 6,000 women of the underprivileged community.

Etiqa Free Mammogram

Etiqa has been in collaboration with the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) since 2017 to offer free mammograms to underprivileged women aged 40 and above to screen for breast cancer. In 2021, Etiqa and NCSM will be continuing their collaboration, making it the fourth phase thus far, to provide free screening to 6,000 women across Peninsular Malaysia. Since 2017, a total of 17,000 women have been screened, and a small group of women who were detected with breast cancer were referred to oncologists for treatment.
